Not everyone can help David de Rothschild build a ship out of plastic bottles and sail it across an ocean. For those of us stuck at home, Adventure Ecology is offering another option: Build a toy version. The toy Plastiki is a scale model of the 60 ft. swiss replica watches catamaran. In keeping with de Rothschilds ethos, the model is made from cardboard approved by the Forest Stewardship Council and printed with vegetable inks. The model costs £18 (about $30) and half the proceeds go to Sculpt the Future, an organization that promotes environmental action. Lets take a look:The first we'll look at is one of the oldest Explorers we've seen in a while. It is from 1957 and it shows, but you can't discount this Replica Ulysse Nardin watches because of it's age.It is a certified chronometer (just as they all are) and it is estimated to sell for the highest amount of the four this coming week.Estimate is $6500-$7500.The second Explorer to consider is more modern, although still vintage (1973) but has a special feature to it that makes it very desirable. This watch was retailed by Tiffany & Co.and as such is marked on the face with that name.
The Tiffany & Co.Rolexes are always fan favorites and Replica Vacheron Constantin watches we're a little surprised this most desired reference 1016 is only estimated to go for only $3000-$5000.Click here for the details on this 1973 Tiffany & Co.Explorer.The next Explorer is one that is very rare and very slick looking. It is the so-called "Blackout" Explorer, which was only made for about two years in the very early 1990s.Called the Blackout for its black (as opposed to white) markers, this watch is definitely a favorite of ours and we actually saw these go for double the $4000-$6000 estimate only a few months ago (see here).
